Alice Farnham is a British conductor and author of In Good Hands: The Making of a Modern Conductor. Her book draws on professional experience to explore leadership, collaboration and the realities of conducting.
Trained at the St Petersburg Conservatoire with Ilya Musin, she has worked extensively in opera and ballet. She co-founded Women Conductors with the Royal Philharmonic Society, supporting the next generation of women on the podium.
