Mikael Syrén

Mikael Syrén is a Swedish screenwriter and director working across film, television, radio and theatre. His career spans comedy and feelgood storytelling as well as crime, including writing for the Beck films.

He has led writers’ rooms and served as conceptual director on series including Kvarteret Skatan, Hotell Gyllene Knorren and Sommaren med Släkten. His work also includes children’s television and radio.
