Ben Mole is a writer and director working across feature films, historical drama and factual television. He wrote and directed the wartime features We Go in at Dawn and Escape to Dunkirk, and directed the crime feature Code of Silence, starring Stephen Moyer as detective Leonard “Nipper” Read.
His factual career includes writing and directing Egypt’s Greatest Discoveries for Atlantic Productions and Discovery, showrunning Ancient Discoveries for History, and serving as series director on National Geographic’s Mystery Files. He also directed episodes of See No Evil and the historical series Last Days.
His work extends to immersive storytelling: he directed Winter Hill, a narrative 360 degree VR pilot for Wildseed Studios and DRG. Across these formats, his experience brings together scripted performance, dramatic reconstruction and visual effects.
