ABOUT DANNY

Danny Stack is a writer and director specialising in childrenâs and family entertainment. His television writing credits include Hey Duggee, Thunderbirds Are Go, PJ Masks, Octonauts and EastEnders.
With Tim Clague, he co-wrote and co-directed Who Killed Nelson Nutmeg?, which premiered at the BFI London Film Festival in 2015, and the science-fiction adventure Future TX, released in UK and US cinemas in 2022 and 2023. Their collaboration also includes Dog Years and television movies for Reel One Entertainment.
His short film Origin won Best Horror Short at the London Independent Film Festival in 2012. He also works in script consultancy and mentoring, drawing on experience as a reader for Miramax, Working Title, the UK Film Council and Pathé. He helped establish the Red Planet Prize for new writing talent in 2007.
