Houmi Miura is a British-Japanese screenwriter based in Manchester, working across childrenâs television, original drama and theatre. Her television writing includes Hollyoaks, Playtime Towers, Supertato, Justinâs House and Biff and Chip. She also writes for audio and developed original pilots through BBC Writersroom schemes.
She is a graduate of BBC Writersroomâs Northern Voices programme and trained at ALRA North. Her creative practice also spans theatre and performance.
