“Who’s Your Granny?” · Written by Marlowe Weisman
DOWNSHOT ON LOLA - sweet and obedient.
LOLA: Is there anything else I can do for you, Granny?
GRANNY - thinks, putting the pillow under her foot.
GRANNY: Not right this minute…
OS GRANNY - Lola scuffs her foot, disappointed.
GRANNY (OS) (CONT’D): On second thought, I know how you can help.
WIDE ON LOLA & GRANNY - Granny massages her foot.
GRANNY (CONT’D): Why don’t you look after the other Little Ones for a while? Until my foot feels better.
LOLA: You mean I get to be Granny? Like you?
Granny nods.
LOLA: Yaa..aaay!
(rethinks)
LOLA: I mean…
On “light,” Lola <CLAPS> her hands like Granny.
“GRANNY” LOLA (CONT’D): (a la Granny)
“Ooh. How delightful!”
