ABOUT NATALIE

screenwriter. actor.

Natalie Arle-Toyne writes television and film across historical thriller, folklore, crime and offbeat comedy. Based in Scotland, she trained at the National Film and Television School and writes for BBC’s River City.

Her work draws on current affairs, historical characters, folklore and the stories of women whose voices have been overlooked. She also holds an MA in Performance from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Natalie Arle-Toyne’s historical thriller series Queen of Magic is in development with Caviar TV. Make Me a King is in feature development with Unleyek, with BFI support.
