Paul Roundell is a television and film writer with extensive experience in continuing drama. He has written more than 300 episodes of Emmerdale, including its live episode, as well as two feature length spin-offs.
He wrote the screenplay for the thriller Bait, released in 2014. His work across television and film spans crime, comedy, horror and drama, combining long-running character development with the demands of standalone stories.
His development work has included Grounded for ITV2 and Mirror Mirror for the BBC. These projects form part of his unbroadcast work, alongside original fiction.
